Vital action on the ground
Our teams traveled across Seine-et-Marne to supply water to personnel deployed on operations. Under a scorching sun, a firefighter in full gear can lose up to two liters of water per hour. This simple act of rehydration is essential to prevent heat exhaustion and support teams between calls.
On-site, the welcome we received at the fire stations was incredibly warm. Despite their fatigue and constant alerts, the firefighters took the time to talk with our volunteers and share stories about their daily lives.
